Bangladesh Nazarene Mission (BNM) is a non-government, non-political and non-profit organization, which is registered under the NGO Affairs Bureau of Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh. Since its inception, the organization is always responsive to the need of the disadvantaged and destitute people with special focus and attention to the children and women. BNM works for humanity and is respectful to all people irrespective of religion, caste and creed. Major programs undertaken for sustainable development by BNM are child and women rights and access to food and nutrition; education for children; food security (nutrition and food security; food for works); basic health and hygiene, agriculture and homestead gardening; disaster risk reduction and climate change adaptation; economic development through income generating activities; women empowerment and community capacity building through formation of Self-Help Groups (SHG). BNM is involved in the emergency relief and rehabilitation as necessary.
